The Alcoas are on Finally!
It only took me a year and a couple months to get some tires on them and put them on the truck. About the only thing i want to do it get some longer studs for the front wheels as they are just a bit short IMO.

I have yet to give it a good solid run on the Hwy. It does ride different and seems smoother around town however the tires being slightly wider and new amplified the worn coupler in the steering shaft. The next project will be the boregeson shaft I have painted and waiting. I also want to get a steering stablizer next as well.

I would recommend the acorn bulge lug nut with the cylindrical extension on the tip that grab the lug nut from within the wheel surface. you will get plenty of thread engagement that way, and would be cheaper and easier than slammin new longer studs in there , if they even exist. I know for the 4x4 you can find longer ones in 9/16" but then you'll need to buy new lug nuts anyway...
The wheels look great BTW. Sadly I've gone from TWO sets of ford Alcoas to zero sets!! I now just have the Ricksons instead. HEre are the pics of my old wheels on another Pirate/tdr member local... also a clean 4x4. I picked up those Alcoas for 50 bucks as brand new takeoffs from a 4x4 conversion van. He opted to ditch the alcoas and put on those trendy new black "rockstar" wheels
The wheels look great BTW. Sadly I've gone from TWO sets of ford Alcoas to zero sets!! I now just have the Ricksons instead. dually wheels
By any chance Does anybody know who makes aluminum dually wheels. The ones I have on my truck have 10 round holes in them(sorry I don't have a picture) and I want to replace the two steel inside wheels for spares. I would guess they are old as they are not clear coated like the aluminum wheels now adays. Thanks for any help.

make sure the studs are long enough to do this, as i have seen disclaimers in the past that tell you not to.
