Alcan spring review!
Alcan spring review!
Will guys I finnally got my front springs. I had them built to handle a 200 pound bumper and a winch. Still have to get my drop pitmen arm, the stearing stinks.

Front has 4" Alcans and rough country nitro shocks. The back is the stock springs off of a 1 ton with blocks and Procomp nitro shocks.

The truck rides a ton better than it did with stock springs.
Here's some flexing shots for you. It's not a crawler but not bad for a heavy truck. That's my dad driving.

My rears don't flex very well. The tire is off the ground.

awesome! that is some good flex in the front. i gotta do something about my front leafs here shortly. they are saggin bad. if you dont mind my asking what does a custom set of front leafs run? im guessing $400 but i guess it all depends on how you have them setup. how does it ride compared to the stock setup?
My stock rear springs flex alright but then again I don't have the 10 leaf pack + overload spring... Mine is just the 7 leaf rear. Unless you're hauling real heavy on te rear you should tak some of those leafs out of there I can put 4800lbs in the rear with my leafs. It sags but it's still off the bump stops, albeit just barely but still.

I might still do it if I ever get sick of the stiff ride.
