mine had a K&N on it when i got it, made the custom mount for stright air intake and removed the air box. and cleaned the filter really well. going ti use it for a while. (dont live in dusty area) the BHAF is alot bigger though. but for now teh K&N will work for me.

I use the BHAF and it seems to work really well. I gained about 1 - 2 lbs of boost over the drilled stock box with a Amsoil filter.

BHAF for me. Nothing else filters out more dirt than paper.

Your local heavy truck parts store should have it, a NAPA can order it.. They go for around $50 USD. You can find part #'s in the "tech facts" section of the website.

The BHAF does not flow as much air as an oiled cotton (K&N, AFE, etc.) filter. It also flows less dirt. The BHAF is bigger than the stock airbox, it flows about double the stock filter.

my truck came with a K&N so i just cleaned it and run it with a custom open air stright pipe mount. i dont live or drive in really dusty areas. but will be purchasing the BHAF soon with funds allow. rather spend 50 bucks on other items right now as i have filter that works fine.
