Air in clutch?
Yeah, I meant the pressure plate assembly -- I think the manual calls it the "cover" . . .
In general it is not good practice to re-use a pressure plate with a new disc -- the springs can get weak, and the friction surface can get worn and distorted from heat. That is why most aftermarket clutches come in a "kit" with disc and pressure plate. If you are planning on keeping the truck for more than a few thousand miles, you should spring for the whole kit.

The clutch kit was new. Can you buy just a pressure plate by its self? Will any one work. Gonna go to carquest and see. Its been about 6 months since I've been able to drive it, still having withdraws. They think I'm cracy at work. Jiffi stop, at a busy intersection, everytime I see a dodge or straight piped semi I'm runnin to the door to hear that sweet sound.
When I give em a big 2 thumbs up they usually get on it a lot more.

Was I supposed to put the pilot bearing in instead of the bushing? Went to dodge and they said to use bushing. Don't think the bearing I got in my kit would fit. The tranny jack is supposed to be here on Monday. The parts guy at Carquest said he'd look at the pressure plate and see if it was broken.
