afc lever

afc lever

i am planning on taking my afc lever out. If so can i put it back in if i dont like results? All i need to do is just tap the little pin out with punch and it will fall out right?

No.once you grind the afc lever you cant go back.I belive Wannadiesel says "if its a play truck go for it,if you tow anything dont do it."

Taking it out is no problem, but if you grind it you need a new lever. With stock injectors it's a fun mod.

Yes, you can remove the lever completely if you want. If you don't like it put it back in. But if you grind the foot off and don't like it of course you'll need a new afc lever. I was conservative and only ground about 1/3 to 1/2 off mine and it's fine.

alright thanks, I plan on getting injectors in the near future so i want to be able to put it back in.

Tap the ***** out and then you can just "tap" the holes with a 1/4-20 and reinstert set screws with blue locktite. Then there is no "gooping the ***** back in" just back out the allen set screws and replace the lever and reinsert the screws. Works slick.
