Adheisive sp?? Remover
Adheisive sp?? Remover
Ok ive started to remove the plastic moldin along the side of the truck. whats a good remover to get all the sticky off. also what the heck do they put on the backs of Banks Power badges for the life of me i cant get the blasted things off.
I dont really care bout the paint its ****ed under the molding anyway good thing i started to take it off now or the bottom half of my bed would have been on the ground in a few years. there was water and dirt and the paint was all nasty and chipping off and there was some surface rust begining. im tryin to decide if im gonna line the rockers up to the bottom of the molding or the top. anyways its less to paint.

another way since you got rust use a fine brissel wire brush that hooks up on a grinder that will remove everything paint, rust, bring it back to metal paint it put your rockers under that molding and put molding back on great way to hide mistakes
to put molding back on if you want a cheap trick by some clear silicone for outside windows cost 2$ a tube and seels everithing good so no more dirt gets under there thats wat i used all aroundon my truck first i used that 3m black molding holder crap
takes forever to dry and who wants to spend all day holding molding in place
with silicone put it on molding let it dry for about 30 min then put it on it will stay were you put it not slide down like that 3m crap that costs 15$ for a small tube put molding back before u paint seel them all around with that silicone and paint over them see that silicone is paintable so its gona be sealed without showing a mess looks like a pro did it

Im not putting the molding back on i think im goin for the slim look. Eventually i wat to debadge everything and run a 2-3in strip around the whole truck and paint the model and Dodge on it. I think thatd look sharp
Ive all ready took the stuff off. I like the stripped look. i have a question tho i cant post the pic on there but lookin my gallery and look at the rockerliner pic. is this too high or should i do the other one.
