working on my `93 and since the AC doesn't work I figured I would get a new condenser and hoses and evac the compressor and use R134 but now I'm finding out that no one makes replacement AC hoses for these trucks??? What have you guys done??

Also has anyone bought a radiator from NAPA?? I got a quote from a shop to recore of over $500 and a new one for about the same! A Napa near me has one in stock for $400. I was wondering what the quality is?? Prolly the same radiators!!

 

Any good automotive AC shop can fabricate any hose, especially if you have a good example...Mark

I have a 1991 and they told me they could have them within 2 days, also as of last year NAPA could get them.

 

Yeah It seems that no auto parts places have a listing any more. My NAPA guy thought that they did have them but now he can't find anything listed for hoses. I'll check the AC shop or my hydro hose guy might.

I found a radiator at a local NAPA in stock... from the dust it's been there a while.. $359.. Looks nice and really think it might be the same as the factory!!

 

It's weird. because Rockauto has the hoses for the early non-ic, but I could not find the later hoses anywhere. Usually it's the other way around. ..Mark
