So i was wondering what year of truck my engine would have been in? a 91 or a 90 cuz the make date is 5/90. just wondering to know what kind of stuff would have been stock on it. thanks for the help.

 

I would say either or. I'm not sure I understand your question of what would be stock on it. It's gonna have all the same parts as all 89-early 91 non-intercooled Dodge truck (if it came from a Dodge) engines. You can sign up for Cummins Quickserve and get info on your engine with your engine serial number. Build date, location, rework, etc.

 

that is the thing, it didnt come out of a truck. It came out of a Case IH. And i was just curious about the year of the truck. thanks

 

its a 90 model july (7th month) is the cutoff for next year-model

 

You may want to check the tag on the side of the injection pump. That is where mine is at, it tells you when it was made, almost all the specs, and a little more.
