well you want Easy way or hard way ?
easy way would be cut around each blot head next to windshield so that way you can remove them then on each side there is a 1/2 bolt under edge to remove and then under dash on firewall there are a couple screw's and on Pass side by glove box there is a Brace 2 5/16 head screw's . Or Real Easy way is remove windshield and then remove row of screw's and the 1's under dash and Bingo it's out .

Uh, I think the hard way is to cut the gaskets for the bolt, myself.
Then again, R&Ring these old windshields is hardly a challenge to me, much less removing the whole dash.

Val, too bad we didn't work just a little bit "smarter" and put a new starter in the truck before yanking it apart.

We would have found the broken pushrod in the engine that you insisted was "knocking".

It's as much my own fault as anyone's, I should always listen to that little voice in my head that always says "trouble shoot it FIRST, then yank it apart".
It would have only needed a $150 starter, then a $30 pushrod.
It would have saved me about $1800 on that trip, for the week's worth of Motel, the replacement engine and the 12 gallons of oil it used coming home.

Oh yeah, we should have pulled the front wheels when we yanked the clip, like we did when we put it back on.
