93 electrical system will not charge
93 electrical system will not charge
Unable to locate problem in charging system after full engine out rebuild. New battery, new alternator, yet while running the battery continues to drain. Volts measure 11.7 at the battery and at the alternator output. I think the engine does not have an air temp sensor on the intake manifold. Just behing the air intake there is a place for a sensor but it is unplugged, deleted in the wiring harness.

First off, welcome aboard..
Search Crank Sensor in this area and you will fix your problem. With the suspect wiring harness, this component may have been overlooked during the overhaul process.
There was a thread with a similar problem not long ago, try page 2 or 3 of this area.

You guys ROCK! The unanimous solution to my problem was right on. I reduced the gap of the crank sensor and Bingo! I have Power. Thanks to DRT and contibutors.
