93 d350 flaxplate problems

hey guys i have broke two stock flexplates in my 93 d 350. and as far as i know no one is making an after market for this model.

haisleys machine has a stock one with a plate welded on for strength anyone heard any good about this one>?

also i wanna beef up my torque converter any suggestions?

my truck is stock i do pull ten thousand pounds with it but short trips on flat land

They say the 2nd gen flexplate will fit and is stronger.

2nd gen flexplate is the upgrade for these.
i tore the center out of mine... and now i have a getrag..

Secong gen flexplate and a goerend converter is the way to go.

ya this last flexplate i broke was a second gen hailey's machine is taking second gen flexplates and welding and extra plate it the center where is a good place to get a georend converter?

The only place to get a goerend that I know of is from goerend transmission. Do a google search and then give them a call the firstgen converter is not listed on the website. Are you sure that the mating surface is clean between the engine and transmission? There has to be a reason they are breaking.

ya installation was clean i am thinking the converter is out of balance i got this truck out of an auction i found the paperwork in it the transmision clinic of colorado built the tranny and it was still under warranty when i got it they said they beefed it up.

so i am not sure the converter is the only explanation i can think of
