Question 93 with 05 rims

i am looking to buy rims and tires off a 2005 ram my question is will they bolt right on they are the five star looking rims with caps and lugs

not sure but dont think they will cuz they dont have holes for your hubs. I might be worng but IDK.

someone posted this before and the answer was yes cuz dodge still uses the same bolt pattern just bigger studs.ford and cheby switched to mm



but i could be wrong

IIRC, you will need 9/16" studs in place of the 1/2" stock ones. I dont think the center caps will fit the front, but I remember something about special lug nuts, maybe ones from a dakota, that will allow you to put the rear center caps on.

The new rims have a larger hole to accomodate the larger stud on the newer trucks. A regular 1/2" lug nut will disappear into the hole on the new rims. Dodge has the larger lug nuts to fit the 1/2 studs. Don't know the part number. Pretty pricey when you go to buy 32 pieces. Seems like they were several dollars a piece. Do a search. Someone talked about this within the last 6 or 7 months I believe.
