92 steering box

Looks like the ole girl needs a steering box. Where are you guys getting these things. Can you still get a new one?

I replaced the steering shaft with a Borgeson but it didn't stop the "wandering".
This is a new problem. I haven't had it for long. When I am driving straight with a little pressure on the steering wheel if I increase the pressure just a bit the truck will move sharply. The front end is tight. I am guessing it's the box.

thanks guys

I have a redhead in mine since a couple weeks. So far so good.
They are not fast to refund the 150$ core charge... still nothing.

Well I didn't want to hear that. LOL

After you drive a while, maybe 5 miles, does the problem seem to go away?

Is there a test for the steering box? Is there a way to figure it in fact really is bad before you tear it apart.

If I figure it out I'll let ya know.
