727 Performance build ??

Well, the good news maybe is I have a 2wd short tail shaft!! If you have any links to some good parts suppliers I would appreciate it. Im trying to keep the upgrades to around 1k not including convertor. Im getting most of the stuff real cheap. Steel planetary and clutches and all that. I might run the stock convertor for my first trip. It only has 24 k on it!! What is the best trans pan for these 727's? I found a B&M +4 quart, Bd is only like 1.5 extra

I've been turned onto the deralle...

Some specs.
This pan has turbulator cooling tubes using air flow beneath the vehicle to reduce the transmission fluid temperature from 20° to 50° F. Fluid capacity is increased from 2 1/8 to 5 1/2 quarts. This pan has a drain plug and is 4 1/2 inches deep.

Also i think its about 130...

??? Shouldn't this be from 50° to 20°? Real nice looking pan though!

I had alot of luck with A&A, rick is an awesome guy to deal with and the customer service is awesome.

transmissioncenter.net i believe has that particular one.
