5.9 ve tuning
Which I find good enough for almost all my 1st gen motor builds.
I doubt ill mod this one, ill likely rebuild it, replace wear items and such, but im lukely going to look for a 6067 cistom hx35 or get the 6064 agressor for power driven. But i need to replace my 4 hole inchectors of unknown origin and my lift pump first
Well shes got 11 psi and holding so far. Chargi e a spare security camera so i dont have to keep going out there. Do you think that if it holds it might be safe to assume that the brass magic bullet could be the issue?
Once I get my beast running I have a 3 piece DAP manifold. Will drop on a 62/64 HX35 I bought from DAP. The advantages of a newer design compressor wheel over the stockers is more efficiency, and faster spooling. I've been following PDD's channel. Not much in there for VE people. However watching their turbo videos although interesting, is mostly geared to the P pumps.
Without the expense of converting to a P pump the VE is capable of producing 550+hp without screwing up your fuel consumption. I have a spare VE pump that will go to Ratman Performance. I have a Max fueled THD hanging on the motor now.

Even without the “leak tool”. It is safe to assume the new air leak that happened after you worked on the fuel system, is for something you just did. You need to check your recent work / re-tightened up things that you just worked on.
I get that, i was an aircraft mechanic for nearly 20 years, im used to "if soemthing new doesnt work what did we touch", im just wondering if i cant detect an external leak, could the brass magic bullet i installed in the fsv be the issue? I cant find any info online about proples experiemce with it. Only marketing material.
It is possible. Might want to swap it out for the OEM one.
I have heard of people that used that product have issues with their truck not shutting off. Which makes me guess the brass tip is not as good at stopping the fuel flow to the pump.
