4" Pipe around the T-case
Hey Guys i know i haven't been here in a while, been busy with school and a real job now, and i had to get rid of a big burden in my life
anyways, My truck needs an exhaust from the turbo to the back of the t-case badly.
I got a 4" DP from diamondeye, I wanna order the 4" pipe to go around the T-case from diamondeye but how do they fit between the t-case and frame? the one in there now is a poorly made 3.5" and it hits the bottom of the floor of the cab and drives me nuts.
Anyone has experience with the diamondeye setup on a 4x4 truck and fitment issues let me know.....Otherwise i"ll just use 4" flex pipe

thanks in advance
Brandon

You know my truck, right ? c/c 4x4 auto
I bought the diamond eye kit and had to modify just the down pipe. The pipe around the TC fit fine, although it's a little tight. No modification at all.
The down pipe, OTOH, i had to crease / bend inwards due to it bumping the frame. Burnzamatic torch and a hammer with a blunt bar made little effort out of the annoying vibration I was getting.
The pipe around the TC fits. You just have to get it perfectly centered in there and it shouldn't hit anything.
Maybe someone with a regular cab can chime in.

I have the exact kit. it *just* slides in between the NP205, frame and driveshaft. We're talking maybe 1/8" clearance to each. My exhaust support bracket from the bellhousing bolt had sheared off. So I welded an "extension tab" to a typical u-bolt exhaust clamp, to reach a lower bellhousing bolt. Then a second support near the end of the pipe where the muffler would normally be attached. I only have the down pipe and the midsection installed so far. The muffler and tailpipe didn't make it due to not having any hangers on-hand at the time.
It still hit my Tcase with the diamond eye. It's very close, I ended up double wrapping it in thermo tape. Been like that for a year with no signs of wear and it prevents the pipe from banging off the tcase.

I used clamps to hold it on there, started from the DP to the muffler.
