Yeah I have the tach, its still on the dash that I got from him that is sittin in my mega crew project.

Thats why i didn't notice ya, I usually notice any 1st gen even gassers

Nope, havent even thought about paint lately, been takin car of some suspension and steering issues

 

Well been thinkin about paint again and i pretty much got the whole thing figured out how I'm gonna do it.

Black and Gold two tone like the box but I will do a Gold insert on the hood in the center folowing the body lines and leaving the center rib Black.

Interior wise I will be going Spice for the most part with Black headliner,carpet, bottom carpet on the door panels, black switch covers, and I will recover the original seat in spice but the vinyl strips will be Black also. Might have some black on the headrests also just not sure how yet.

I figure this will tie the whole color scheme together inside and out but will still look factory but with a custom touch.

What are your thoughts?

 

those wheels look really good. I voted gold and black and I see after reading the whole thread you chose that color perfect!!!

 

I think that will look sweet and just enough custom touch to look stockish and make it stand out.

 

IMHO, that is going to look TOTALLY SICK!!!!!

I dont know what it is about your truck, it is just too tough lookin.

Gold paint makes the vehicle look too old. Besides that, anything chrome, black chrome, or black powder coat wont look as good against it.

 

If you havn't notced my truck is old and I'm old school so Gold fits perfect.
