Painted eBay Grille *PICS*

Welp I got my painted grille from pershingauto via eBay for $89 shipped on the FedEx truck today.

Not sure if the grille louvers come out of the stock grille but these don't. They are just an egg-crate style and are molded in with the rest of the grille.

Other than that it seems sturdy enough.. I'll get some on the truck pics tonight.

*EDIT*
Pics on the truck... Then painted the louvers and headlamp buckets black.

The louvers on a stock grill are removable and available separately.

Yeah, I noticed that when I took the old busted up beat down plastic that used to represent what my grille was off the truck.

It looks weird without the D-O-D-G-E on it.

I had to buy an aftermarket grille also. I couldn't find new factory originals.

Probably can't make it with the dodge name - copyright problems, etc.

The letters come off the factory grille and can be glued on...
That would make it look 100% better.

You can still get ones with "DODGE" on it from the dealer. Just be prepared to hand over 3x the money! I have had 2 aftermarket ones on my truck, and haven't had good luck. I reinforced the first one with fiberglass so it wouldn't crack in the usual spot by the hood latch. Worked great till it got smashed in a wreck. Second one came cracked right out of the box!! I really missed the letters as well, so I bit the bullet. My factory one should be here in the next few days. I really like the louvers on that one you have there, looks really sharp all painted up!! Nice job!! I wish I would have seen these when I was redoing the front of the truck, I considered doing a painted one but all I could find was chrome.

Where from? I've been unable to locate them from my local dealer or aftermarket according to the body shop that is painting my truck. My grill is in good shape, but the louvers are all busted.

Online catalog page 73. about 16.00 each. Not oem!! I get replacement panels there all the time. Not the best but not the worst either.

That's good to hear. I've been looking for a stock grille with the Dodge letters on it for about 2 years now. I had one lined up, then during an ice storm, a woman hit the front of the truck I was going to get the grille off of, and of course destroyed it.

If you don't mind, can you PM me a price you paid from the dealer?

Thanks
