Question 350 hub on 250?

I have a shot at a set of W350 front hubs. If I can put them on my W250 I could run dually wheels in the front and not have to cary 2-spares. I called Napa and they said that the bearings and rotors are the same but thats all they could tell me. I know that the locking part of the hubs for the 4x4 bolt on different.
Can any one tell me if axel stubs are the same and will this will work?

If you know what model truck the hubs came from, you can cross reference part numbers for the spindles. If the spindles are same they will work.

I have found several instances where spindles will interchange; therefore hubs, bearings, etc. will interchange.

Another option is to get a set of front spacers off a Ford ton 4X4.

Make sure they are 8 on 6-1/2 and not that metric crap.

Most Ford and Chevy ton 4X4 are same as 3/4 except for the spacer/adapter that lets a ton wheel bolt up.

Still need to check spindles as numerous spindles are on 60's.

Pretty sure the dodge spindles and chevy spindles are the same for the single and dual wheel setup. Ford's are different with a 5 bolt (smaller 7/16 bolt) and overall shorter dimension. And in my opinion a weaker unit.

Where are you located in AK? I was up there for about four years and love and miss it. (Ketchikan and Kodiac)

As far as I know, one spindle fits all Chevy and Dodge trucks. I am 99.9% sure about this, but have never taken the hub off of a one ton front axle, hence the 0.1% hesitance . . .
