3200 rpm spring and fuel milage
Does the spring help or mess up my milage? Or is it one of those more power more fuel kind of things. I have not really been able to do a true test on my milage cause i guess my foot gained a few pounds during the install and i CAN'T KEEP MY FOOT OUT OF IT!!!! This spring made a world of difference and is amazing and so much fun to drive.

3200 spring does nothing to change the amount of fuel you are using. It only changes how the pump reacts to throttle input. The right foot is the biggest effect on fuel milage. (good or bad)
In theory, yes. In reality, the jury is still out. I have been wondering the same thing, as my MPGs dropped when I had the pump rebuilt (and a 3200 spring installed). I havent gotten around to getting a stock spring and testing, but I'm about to think that is the cuplrit. Doesnt matter if I drive 55 or 75- it's within 2mpg. 15mpg city/ 18-19hwy.

My round town mileage dropped. Out on the highway and towing it is the same when driven the same but poorer if I get frisky. I care a lot about mileage but would not go back. I would rather back off on the VE adjustment a little. I used to have 411 gears. The 3200 spring has compensated for the greater gap between the gears with the taller rear end ratio.
Even using the greater rev's, one does not have to nail it. It is possible to gradually increase throttle, keeping temps down and using much less fuel than WOT.

you must be doin somethin right. i thought i was very economical getting 17 on a recent trip especially compared to my 13 around town. shouldnt my truck be doing better than this? i think that i need some adjustments to get a little better mileage but idk.
