2wd Front shock relocation kit?? Anybody...
I guess I'm asking the same question in a different way.
Does anyone know of a front shock relocation kit for the D250 2wd? If not, where could they moved to - suggestions?

frijoli... i believe the 7226s springs are supposed to accomplish that. (i know ouchman used them on his last truck) some people love them and say it never sags again, i've seen other say they had to replace them. i think he (and i) are trying to see if there is another way to give some extra assurance that the springs won't settle back down.
Actually drop-spindles would be the ultimate way to go, since you can only lift the truck so far with stock spindles.
When I lifted my '92 (no longer own it) they used 2" spacers AND 7226s springs. It was the worst ride ever. I LOVED the way the truck looked, but after a while it was just too much. I might as well have had NO shocks. I would like to find a way to lift a 2wd like my old one (5" front/3" rear) but still ride comfortably.
I wonder if lift spindles from another year truck would work?? Anyone...??

i raised mine by new springs, ride is fine and after a year and half no sag,
but to answer your question i was informed his shock setup is patterned after an 87 chevy pickup, he no longer has the truck so pics are out.

Years ago a friend had a 78ish D150 he was making a prerunner type rig. He dual shocked the front similar to a chevy 2wd is set up, putting the shocks in the back of the a arms and mounting to the frame above and also fabbed a brace for the idler arm. worked out pretty good.
