Has anyone tried adapting a 2nd gen master cyl assy onto a first gen?

 

I've wondered this too. They appear that they should bolt on to the 1st gen booster. Can't see why they wouldn't work. Might have an issue in the size of the nuts that screw into the MC, but you can always get adapters for that.
