205 4x4 indicator light switch

wondering if anyone came up with alternate way to energize the dash light, quad 4x4 loves the high priced switch sales, the later weatherpack connector switch is good gm#15594176, still not easy to find, im rigging the '74 ramcharger tcase for install and would like to try to do a 4wd light on that, hope for another option?

I've got a Weather Pak kit. I'd be happy to build a pigtail with the 2-pin male connector for you if that's what you're in need of.

In the past I've spent hours looking at switches from all makes and models that might be made to work for our application, but the biggest issue is with the thread pattern on our old switches. I lucked out and found a relatively cheap NOS one on E-bay years ago for about $75...it's in my stash since my OEM one seems to still be working.

As for an alternative how about a magnetic HAL sensor on the linkage, with a bracket off the TC so when you shift into 4wd it breaks the connection and lights up the bulb?

It consists of connectors with a varying number of cavities and shapes; 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-way connectors. The 5-way are round. It also has an assortment of male and female terminals for the commonly used gauges of wire, 20-12awg, seals for the varying gauge wire, plugs for unused connector cavities, pliers for crimping the terminals to the wire and seals and a terminal removal tool. Something like a 1300 or 1500 piece set. I bought it years ago on Amazon. I wanna say somewhere around $300. I've used it plenty either replacing broken or faulty connectors, making harnesses or adding connectors to a circuit where wanted or needed. I'm thrilled to have it!
