1st gens with 19.5's

I have always thought this was a pretty nice truck. Anyone running 19.5's? Ride change any?

I have been told that the ride is worse because of the stiffness of the sidewall on the 19.5s. I was considering running them myself.

I run 245/70/19.5 tires & they ride the same if not better than stock. I was told the 225's ride pretty rough & that is why I went with the 245's.

Here's the place to get 'em... http://www.ricksontruck.com/. I'd probably get them myself if I hadn't just got new Toyo M-55s

Can't really compare ride quality of a 3rd gen to a 1st gen Fill those 19.5's with concrete and you'll be in the ballpark of the average 1st gen I do agree that more sidewall will help ride quality. I did just recently put my hands on a 19.5'' tire--man those things are tough, stiff and heavy! Made my load range E feel like a donut spare from mom's toyota in comparison. I can see where towing heavy/often it would be the way to go, but load range G for a daily driver? No thanks

I thought that 19.5's would look bad but they actually look quite nice
