1st gen years???

I was just curious ,being fairly new to the Cummins,what years are included in what we refer to as 1st generation.

I believe 1989 thru 1993 are first gen years. Later, Tony

FYI: the ealry year Dodge Body parts fit your truck.

IE: I used an 82 Dodge pickup bed and it fit perfect on my '92

bodies are the same (not grille of course) from 1981-1993
prevous the last change was 1972-1980 and are somewhat close
