1st gen rv motor

just purchased a motor home with a 230 hp 1 st gen cummins need to get more power as we are going to tow our 30 ft race car trailer any ideas. dont know much about 1 st gens my 02 dually is 24 valve

You sure it's a 1st gen engine? that means it has a VE pump. The rotary style pump not the P-pump where the 6 inj. lines come right out the top.

yes it,s the allison trans and you are right it is a p pump we are going to do the exhaust and the air intake and a pittsburg power fuel plate and let it roll

I am assuming it has an Exhaust temperature gauge with the probe mounted PRE-turbo ?

Id save your money onthe fuel plate and invest in a 3kgsk. install a pre turbo pyro, do all the free mods and grind the plate into a #10
