I recently bought a clean 96 6BT for a project truck i am building. My question is. My buddy bought a 92 250 4x4 with an automatic. Could i use that auto out of the 92 to mount up to my 96 6BT? I thought i was reading about they changed something in 94 and the tranny's would not interchange. I'm sure that i am wrong though. Please inlighten me on this subject.

 

if you use 92 engine plate, starter and converter it will bolt up. throttle pressure linkage for 96 should work. got the 727 bolted to my 97 but used manual valvebody to do away with linkage.
