You can also modify the 370 injectors to fit in the first gen. Not to many people have gone this rout, but it does work. And if thats not enough power you can get them punched out like mine. Sure they smoke, but you can controll it.

It really depends on what you do with your rig, and how much you want to spend. Tow? Race? Putt around? I have tested quite a few different injectors. The POD's seem to be the best all around. They make good power, are cheap, and dont smoke to bad with concertive pump settings. 185's make good clean power, but are limited. DDIII+'s are the best I have run for power and smoke control. They make a little more power than the POD's, but smoke much less. The downside is that they are expensive. I haven't tested any recent EDM's so I cannot comment on them. I hear that they are getting better. Basically any Bosch nozzle, like the 215,330, 370 can be put in a first gen holder and recalibrated. This allows for many options especially with extrude honing. 370's being the most popular -they make good power, and some smoke too. No comment on Bully Dog. With a large injector and/or a 'hot' pump, idle and acceleration smoke may become an issue. This is mainly due to low injection pressure, and relatively inefficent injectors that must be used to make good power. Just something to think about.
