1st gen cabs

is the club cab the biggest cab made in the first gen?

I seem to remember this old farmer who had a four door Dodge, it was old tho, like in the seventies or early eighties.

any four door first gen diesels out there?

thanks

No Dodge never made a crewcab diesel but they are very easy to do the last year for the crewcab was 85's and that is the same body style as the first gen .there easy to swap over I have done one and will be doing another here in soon again It all depends on if you want 4x4 or 2x4I had the first crewcab longbed in Calif and loved it it's basicly all bolt in and the nice thing is everything lines up .If you want a crewcab I would look for a good gasser and just swap everything over .

I have a 1985 Crew Cab 4x4 Short Box..it's a retired USAF Missile crew truck.
Currently it's big block powered...but in a few weeks it will be Diesel Cummins equipped.

They built the modern crew cab body style from 1975-1985...the Cummins never hit the Dodge line up until 1989....so no crew cab powered models were factory built according to official Chrysler records.

They actually started building the crewcabs in 72. I've got a 73 and I've seen a 72 crewcab before.

Dodge built crewscabs back into the 60's. The oldest one I have seen is a 64 model. The US Forest Service bought quite a few.

The Air Force bought many 72/73/74 models. All 318/727 and most of them were 4x4.
