1991 w250 info needed
Hey guys, sorry to be redundant, but I am still searching for answers.
Aight, my truck has no blocks under the rear and the rear sags several inches below the front. Why do I not have blocks? My brother has a 1992 w250, the exact model, and his has the 6 inch blocks some of you have been talking about. His truck also has rancho shocks and a added stabilizer bar, but it doesn't sit too much higher. Besides the shocks and blocks...our suspensions are identical. What gives with my truck? Is his lift factory with replaced shocks or what?
How can I get those stock blocks in the rear? Oh, yeah....is $1300 a sweet deal for a Skyjacker 4in lift with shocks, springs, stabilizer bar,...installed?
Also..I use Rotella 15w40 in this truck and have always used Rotella in my cummins...is this suitable for my truck?...the winters in SC get to around 25 to 40 usually...and the summers are 95+.
Thanks guys....i'm lovin' all this help....and the freaking awesome website. redwake

There's not a bad oil among all the major brand 15W-40's. Rotella is a very popular oil, you will have no trouble with it.
I don't use Rotella because it's stinky for the first month after an oil change, I find that Mobil Delvac doesn't have that same odor of decomposing dinosaurs.
Cummins says that 15W-40 is OK down to 10 degrees F., so there's no need to run a lighter weight. They do not recommend a heavier weight in exteme heat.
