Hello everyone first time posting,
have a 1990 250LE 4wd 5 speed manual with a cummins in it,, kind of a rare truck & it took me a long time to find one,, thought I had transfercase problems & pulled it, but it is ok, transmission is making terrible noise is locked up if I put it in gear,, anyway wanted to know what transmission I have? cant find a plate or tag on the outside & don't know what if any other transmissions will interchange ,, been punchin the truck up on ebay & craigslist but haven't found or got any hits,,, will a transmission out of a similar truck but with a gas engine interchange?? Gas engine trans won't work.

It's a GETRAG G360 ---only used from 1989-1993 in Dodge Cummins trucks ONLY

There is a guy on ebay in Indiana, he goes by the ebay name Jrjeepparts. He sells a completely rebuilt getrag for $1100 plus your old one as core. He's a great guy to deal with .

parts and info on the trans is readily available. there are even PDF files all over this forum on how to rebuild it.
