03 2500 4x4 5speed Specs?

Does anyone know how much horsepower and torque it has? I can't find a post about it. I am looking at one and I am curious to see the loss of power between HO 6 speed and the five speed. Thanks for any info. God Bless. Aaron

The SO has 460 ft lbs of torque, the HO has 555. Get the HO if you plan on towing heavy things, the SO seems to do fine otherwise.

Correct me if i am wrong, but i think he is looking at the Cali version. I belive they were the only ones with a 5 speed. If thats the case, it is not even a SO, it is less

The CARB version of the SO has 235 hp vs 245 for the 48 state SO version, and the same torque. HP doesn't seem to mean squat in these engines, considering that the highest output version of this engine from Cummins seems to have 660 ft lbs of torque with something like 245 hp. I've heard that an advantage that the CARB version has is that it was designed to run cooler in order to reduce nitrogen compounds, hence it might be longest lasting engine.
