Hey guys can you tell me what kind of transmission is in an 2wd 84 dodge 1 ton with a 360? its a 4 speed manual? and would it be possible to use behind a stock cummins that doesnt tow?

 

Believe it's a NP435. I would not think it would be great to use behind a cummins. Not sure what kind of adapters you would have to have to be able to use it behind a cummins. If there are adapters it will probably cost you more to to adapt the NP435 then to just get tranny already set-up for a cummins.
