1974 D500 Wow!!!
There is a 1974 D500 on Ebay right now that is so cool!! I would love to take the front end off of it and adapt it to a crew cab or even try to get the crew cab on the D500 frame. For some reason I can't copy the pics of it to save or post on here.
This is not the truck but a pic of the style... I've never seen these before!

YEah wow that would be awesome, it would instantly and easily become a W500 with a nice Rockwell front to go under there to match the rear axle. Cummins with Divorced np205 and away we go!!!! Yes, it would have to become a crew cab as well... The 6 lug rockwell and 20" wheels, slap some nice Michelin Military 20" tires on there. I WANT IT!

Use the snipping tool if you have windows vista. should be in your accesories.
cutout the picture of the truck and save to computer, then upload to photobucket and post here. just so you know for the future.
thats a cool idea you have.

We used to service lots of the 1-1/2- and 2-ton Dodge trucks, mostly with grain-bodies on them.
It seemed like every farmer around had at least one, and then they all just disappeared.
I used to see quite a few Dodge road-tractors also, both cab-overs and long-noses.
The basic cab on the 1-1/2- and 2-tons is identical to that of a 1/2-ton pick-up.
It is do-able to mount the "dog-house" and running-boards of the bigger truck onto a pick-up, providing the cab-mounts are raised to the necessary height.
