Yeah I think a first gen grill will fit but it will need something like a skirt on the bottom to fill the space.

The grill on these is the radiator support/forward cab mount. It doesn't come off like our smaller trucks.

And yes the big Napcos are rare as hens teeth well any Napco is for that matter.

Some of the smaller Napco's in the late 50 were factory installed conversions. Then in 60 The general started building their own 1/2 and 3/4 ton 4x's and 1 ton and up was a Napco

This is my 60, 1st year chevy designed and built there own 4x

That thing is very cool, I LOVE that body style.

the front axle and t case are napco units this truck was converted by napco as a ontario hydro truck then later in life made into a wrecker im just trying to gather parts to do a restoration to it trying to track down a 3116 cat and 10 speed for it

i saw a topkick front clip on a like a 91 chevy single cab dually body last night at the track with like 8in of lift and 10 lugs it was pretty sweet, i think it had a 454. basically the same thing you guys are talking about but chevy. just thought ide share...

So NAPCO made their own axles and t-cases, or are they just rebadged Dana or Spicer units? How is the t-case mounted, divorced or bolted to the back of the trans?
