16.5" drop center wheels and tires

Found some I could get cheap.

4 dual wheels (coined) with 16.5 rubber at about 50% on em. Must be old, but not checked at all.

Are they worth anything?

I run 16.5's on my crew. There are guys who have busted a bead out on the trail. The tires are getting hard to find. Once my wife needs tires then I'll probably switch to a 17". BUT if I find a good deal on some other 16.5" then I'll run them.

I've never had problems with them. I had put some in really bad situations, don't know if I'm lucky or I've just heard horror stories.

I say a good deal is a good deal and it wouldn't stop me from running them.

At one time I ran 16.5" tires and rims. Had issues with spinning the rims in the tires and damaging the beads (leaks).

I run 16.5's and have had no issues. I keep them at max psi. I stepped up to 37's when I found a good source on them. My last set cost me $35.00 a tire

I have 16's on my truck, and I was looking for an extra set of rims so I could have winters and summer tires. A guy on CL had a set for sale, and he "thought" they were 16's, when in reality they were 16.5's. Drove all the way out there (almost an hour) to find he didn't even know what he had. They were pristine, but worthless to me, as I didn't want to get involved in the .5 sizing thing

The OEM rims were, however, super heavy duty and probably weighed 30-40% more than my stock 16's, as they were made from a much thicker metal. Supposedly for some military spec.
