14cm or 16cm

I'm going to be buying PODs tomorrow and was curious about upgrading the housing 16 cm or 14 cm, i'm sort of leaning towards the 14 cm because i don't pull much.

EDM's are what i really want but I'm a college student, enough said.

I just got 5" x 56" stacks so i will be making a 4" dp to a 5" pipe. Didn't know if you wanted to know what exhaust i would be running.

This is for the 93

College student, my vote is keep your stock 18cm housing. 14wg housing = $$, 16cm, not enough gain over the 18cm to be worthwhile. Once you get those POD's, gov spring and some fuel, you'll need that 18 housing to help cool things. JMO.

I agree with Bill-keep the 18. With PODs, you'll have enough fuel to spool it

I'll be the third to jump on the 18 cm bandwagon. You have an automatic so you only have to spool it once.

If you need a 14 cm WG housing to keep boost under control, you need a bigger turbo or twins. If I had it all to do over I would not have wasted money on one.

Could be. The "engineering" term for twins would be "compound" or "2 stage" turbocharging. I haven't heard anybody refer to twins as "staged", though.

I havent heard many people call one small and one big turbo "twins". It reminds me of that Arnold, Danny Devito movie.

I think Staged is a much more accurate name for them.
