Yep, another tick tick question
Yep, another tick tick question
Okay guys,
Got the ol' tick tick going on under the hood. Sounds best warm when between 1000-1600 rpm under no load, just slowy crusing in 2-3 gear, and at idle. Ticks steady with rpm.
My OF valve is 1.5 years old, fuel lines are all rubber, 1 year old, and did a valve adj. 2 weeks ago. Can hear it best listening at driver side wheel well. Fuel filter is over due for a change. May cause it?
Im guessing my lift pump needs replacement from reading the previous tick tick threads? Im just asking your opinion on what i should do. Investigate more? I just dont want to throw parts at it hoping to fix a prob
. I just spent a sat. replacing rear shoes(RR axle seal leak a while ago, oily shoes never got replaced) and doing a valve. adj. to fix pulsating brakes and a ticking sound. Only to find out my front rotors are warped and my valves were pretty much in spec and the tick did not go away. Im just trying to avoid that again
. Any help in what direction to go would be most appreciated. TIA -Jake
PS: Oh yea, my doors are rusty, clutch slipping(my fault), wipers have a mind of there own, oil pr. gauge likes to scare me and say 0 for a sec, water in cab, front tires like to wear funny, oil loves to seep out of front vac/PS mount, turbo is flicking me off at 40psi, BHAF looks kinda black from soot, and im still trying to figure out my next step towards twins
Oh i love it
