Won't start
My dad gave me his 1995 dodge 3500 before he died March. I took it in to get new filter and it came back a few days later it has been hard to start! So I read the book and installed new primer pump. I have open up bleeder bolt and have pumped a lot see bubbles and still no gas!? How much pumping do I do before it starts a lot more!! I have to take the truck in Monday to get painted so he can still up in heaven he really loved this truck! Thanks for your help!!

Hopefully you're looking for diesel not gas bubbles?
If this just started after getting the filter changed it may be a bad seal/oring on the filter itself, allowing it to loose prime when parked overnight. Other culprits are overflow valve, return line that runs behind injector pump, and fuel heater. Pressurising the fuel tank with a few psi van help track leaks.
Once prime is lost it can take what seems like 200 pumps of the button to fill the canister again.

Bump the engine over as well too make sure the lift pump is pumping fuel.
Since it is cam driven it can be on the cam lobe in such a way that it doesn't pump fuel well using the thumb primer.
