I have a 93 5.9 cummins in a motorhome and the turbo says whic on it. Does this turbo have a silencer ring in it? Also, does whic have 12cm wastegated housing? Thankyou, Rod.

 

It should say, and probably does say wh1c. that's the stock turbo on the 1st gens. If it's a stock 93 truck, it would have an 18cm non-wastegated housing

 

Actually the WH1C is almost exactly like the HX35 and was only used in '94 Rams.
It's 12cm wastegated. The silencer ring was a Dodge thing, may not have it.
The '93 and older Rams had a H1C, 18 and 21 cm housings, non wastegated.
