looking to do some more work to my 96 and 91 should i do the valve springs and then stud it or the other way around , also if i just fire ring it do i still need to put studs in it . i want to start makings so real power out of them but want to take the right precautions b4 i scatter something thanks neal

 

O-ring the head, do the valve springs when the head is off, use studs when you install. Save up and do it all at once, will save you re-doing the work.

 

id just get fire rings ,use stock head bolts and then get 60lb valve springs and titanium retainers maybe port the head on the exhaust side a little my old truck had this set up and ran lil over 600hp
