weird engine stalling

Started my truck today (after making a few stops.. the engine was warmed up) and as I pushed the accelerator, it stalled.
Restarted, stalled again. 3 or 4 times, same thing. Turned off A/C then suddenly it seemed ok. A/C back on, still ok.
I mention the A/C because I recently had the evaporator replaced which involved removing the dash. Also recently replaced the fan clutch.
This is a 12 Valve '96 cummins 177K miles.
I know this is vague, but any ideas?
Thanks

What is your Idle RPM with AC on, in gear?

If it isn't 750-800, you need to get it up there.

Could also be starting to plug Fuel filter/Pre-filter.
