Water Tempreture

Does 190 sound to hot for driving around town and interstate?

all the time,or does it go to 190 then drop,back up and down again?

it will go down a little like idleing at stop lights or stop and go driving but if I am driving it will be at 190.

190 running is a good steady temp for pretty much any diesel. Too cold you carbon up, too hot you steam.

, sounds good though. I have a mechanical water temp in head at #1 cylinder that runs 192 hooked up towing, 190 empty. I have the stock gauge in dash, it to me is somewhat accurate with the second Isspro electric in the back of the head near #6 cylinder, that gauge runs 191. I guess I have OCD with gauges.
