Question water in fuel sensor NS1 !

hi
well after getting my sons 96 trusk back on the road due to a broken leaking / no warning when it happened sensor !

i got tio thinking about how old mine might be and tried to look for a new one and chry sayes no longer made , now dont get excited as i tried geno's
and they dont supply it eather ??

so whewe do i git wone ???

You don't need a WIF sensor. You need to open the drain twice a year and dump 1 cup of fuel. Good to go.

hi
yes i am aware i dont need one , BUT is there a posiability it can malfunction like my sons ,bad!!!! leak,no warning , and leave me stranded on the road ????

Yes it can.......mine pour like water out of the blue one day.
So Dodge no longer carries them???
Do they have an alternate filter or filter housing?
Can't drive without the unless you find an oil filter as a temporary replacement.
Let me look back at some of my previous posts. I posted the part number for the filter I used to get me home.

found it!!!

OK, here is the thread about using the oil filter in place of the fuel filter. (emergency only)
It was a Fram PH 3985.
