getting ready to replace head gasket again.
I'm getting ready to replace my head gasket again. I replaced it about 2 years ago. The radiator sprung a leak and I ran the system too low on water which over heated the engine and caused the head gasket to start leaking on the right side between the head and the block. It is leaking bad enough to start leaking with no pressure after you top off the radiator. I know I need to send the head in to get checked and check the deck of the block. I was thinking of installing head studs. what is the best place to get the studs and what else do I need to look at. I work on semi trucks and trailers for a living but I don't have alot of experiance in engine work.
One other thing I need to repaire is it is leaking air into the fuel system when it sits. I replaced the larger of the 2 fuel lines from the fram to the engine but wasn't sure how the other line came off. It looked like it was part of the steel line. Do I need to cut the metal line or does it come off or do I need to look elswhere for the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Can't help you on the head gasket but the best solution to the air leak is to entirely abandon the stock fuel feed and return system.
The stock fuel system is many problems waiting to happen.
Even the metal lines are prone to crack and leak.
Replace it with quality diesel rated hose all the way from tank to engine.
You can use hose clamps on the end of each hose but need to inspect the metal lines going into the tank to see if they are rusted out.
If so replace with this> http://www.vulcanperformance.com/Dra...shlo-p/dsi.htm
