On my 92, I retorqued the bolts to 125ft-lbs, as per instructions from Joe Donnelley.

i have my doubts about the whole re-torqueing of the stock head bolt, due to the fact that they are stretch bolts. when installing new head bolts it goes 65 ft/lbs, 90 ft/lbs, then an additional 90 degree turn on each (following the correct pattern). the 90 deg. turn stretchs the bolts, so who knows what the final torque is? i would think that re-torqueing or any tightening afterwards would simpley stretch the bolts more than they were intended to, possible causing one to fail. it can happen. a broken head bolt caused me to recently have to install a new head gasket, i never re-torqued them, it just broke all on its own. maybe someone else screwed with them? inthe pic, you can see where the broken head bolt caused the head gasket to fail.

Cummins spec. is 60 psi for the short and intermeditate bolts and 90 psi for the long bolts then 90 Deg for all when I do them I torque them all to 120 psi then retorque them at 50.000 back to 120 psi.
