Vacuum Pump Oil Supply Line leak

Rebuilt my vacuum pump a couple months ago..........now power steering fluid leak (used a new power steering pump). Anyway, leak looked to be the housing on the power steering pump. Took it all apart today, fixed that leak, and now my oil supply line is leaking where it fits to the bottom of the vacuum pump.

My question is, is there an o-ring at this location? I sprayed it all good with brake cleaner and may have damaged the o-ring if there is one. Can't find a parts breakdown to determine if there is an o-ring. I loosened and retightened, but still leaking engine oil at this location.

I also have a leak there. I have been told there is no o-ring, I believe it is a compression fitting.
I have wrenched on it, and my mechanic mentioned that he did too.
Hopefully we haven't tweaked the engine block, hopefully just the line.
I wanted to replace it, except I can't find one!
Its been recommended to me that I have one fabricated...
that little tiny oil line! Fortunately it doesn't leak much...but every time I'm under there it irritates me.

btw, same thing happened to me when i rebuilt the ps/hydroboost...
got a leak at the ps box. think I'm just gonna replace the box with a better one anyways...so does this mean that line will leak worse???

The fittings are -4 JIC's. No o-rings, just a taper. If they are over-tightend, they can be damaged. You should be able to go to a hydraulic shop and they can put on new fittings, or go to cummins and get a new line entirely.

I will try a cummins parts dealer...I need to remember my VIN is on my insurance card....they can't tell me ANYTHING without my VIN...

btw, how do I get my "signature" to tone the size down a little?

Turns out I had damaged the male fitting that screws into the vacuum pump by not being careful while separating it from the leaking PS pump. I changed that fitting out (miracle I had an identical replacement just laying in my tool box) and no more leaks. Thanks for the replies though! Hope you get yours ironed out.

It is a commonly available fitting - I think 1/8" npt by some standard size compression. Unscrew it from you pump (while pump is still on truck), and take another vehicle to go find one at lowes or home depot or some hydraulic supply place. Sorry I have not responded sooner.
