Ok, it's not on a Dodge, but a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 V8, 1994.
46RH transmission.
It started slipping, so I flushed it, replaced oil, filter, and adjusted bands.

It ran fine for 50 miles then....that's it.

Car won't move an inch, any gear, reverse, etc. It felt like TC bolts were snapped off, but it's not the case (checked it).

What else could be ? Can I do something at least to move it a little ?

 

Input shaft? Also, check to make sure that the fluid level is OK after the refill.

 

Checked fluid, it actually looks like is way too much now. I know how to check it very well on Chryslers (have plenty of them around), and it was fine. Now when I check it in neutral it shows way over the top HOT notch (kinda like 1" above).

 

i think its toast no offense....might be time to rebuild seriously...u probably have massive internal leaks and there's really no fix except internal cleaning, new seals, and new internal parts

 

As an ex dealer tech, I have to say that its quite common to see those transmissions go before 50,000 miles. I can't tell you how many have been replaced in Jeeps and Dodge trucks while still under warranty. If the vehicle has more than 100,000 miles, then you did well...rebuild or buy a reman, and start fresh. And while you are at it, flush out the transmission cooler very well because its common for the lines to get clogged when a transmission goes bad, and you don't want your new rebuild to burn up because of a clogged line. Also replace the torque converter, because another weakness is the lockup converter, and also because crap will find its way into the TC and its just about impossible to flush it out.
