My Father in law has a 97' dodge with a 47re trans. The trans has been rebuilt, transgo shift kit and a new convertor. the first four shifts are rock solid but no lockup. When you push the OD button the tach goes up and you get tthe down shift. Any ideas ??? By the way, prior to the rebuild, thing slipped really bad in OD.

does he have a tranny gauge hooked up? I know if you unhook the idiot light /sensor out of the tranny line, you need to put a 1k ohm resistor as a jumper wire in the contacts or you won't have lockup.

 

Nothing was left unhooked.
