Stefan thanks for the reply. This is more like I expected from DTT. I have to totaly agree 100% with you and your policy of not supplying competitors your parts or knowledge. And I would expect the same from your competitors.
Thanks
Bruce

transmission

It is hard to believe that DTT would not take care of there customers, an they have some good installers. For me a crate transmission, with a complete warrenty would be the best.
Anyone can have a problem from time to time, things happen, that is for sure. My friend had a problem with his DTT upgraded transmission but the installer took care of the problem. HE has only one speed WO. Good luck on what ever you choose Jim

NOT a bash, but almost every post that I could find by johnsjas refered to htstransmissions.com. I would like to know more about either his connection with them, or elaborate on the previous problems with dtt so that we could understand better. After all, he does make some big accusations.

I have better mpg and am quicker in the 1/4 mile. The tranny shifts very hard but if you want they can built a valve body that shifts smoother.

You know something you start bashing people and their transmissions, people are gonna start bashing you!!!! If you want get word out don't bash someone to do that! That was pretty pitiful!!!!

warrenty

I have asked a few people and got different answers, the thing is if you have your transmission upgraded then you have your transmission with upgraded parts. The warrenty is the upgraded parts and labor? Next is a crate transmission, from end to end warrenty? That is a question for me warrenty. I dont expect a company to warrenty the original transmission, but if something goes wrong and it can then end to end warrenty is the best FOR ME. So a crate transmission from DTT or who ever is better than parts warrenty. I guess it is just personal choice, If I were to use DTT then I want BILL to do the job. I have been critical of automatic in the past for sure, but lets be fair DTT makes a great transmission. Jim

I dont mean to bash the people that have the DTT tranny I just done care for them. If they work for you that is fine, and I keep my comments constructive and not distructive.

Sorry again

Well like I said if you want to get the product advertised then don't bash other peoples stuff. That's fine that you don't care for them. That is your opinion. An opinion is like an Edit everyone has one. thank you

Sorry, for update. The tranny was shot. The tranny was not getting proper lube, because when they rebuilt it before they either did not clean coolers out or do it right. They really should of been replaced. Also, line pressure was at 104. I really think the person who built my tranny did not know what he was doing. I did not have this DTT dealer rebuilt again. I brought it to a more knowledgeable person to be done and could not be happier.

Glad you got your truck back together, but I call B* on the coolers, if they were blocked it wouldnt have lasted two weeks, much less 2 1/2 years. Typical good ole boy shop attitude, tell the customer the last place messed it up so he thinks we're smart , that kinda stuff makes me
